Unless the LORD build the house...

So begins my favorite Psalm, 127, except that the NIV version I link to has cast off the subjunctive and uses builds instead--feh! How does the LORD build a house? Not with hammer and nails (exception noted for certain houses built in Nazareth circa 25 A.D.), but by putting more people in it!

I would like to use this blog to meditate on the gift of human life, so little esteemed in this modern world of ours.
